This is a fun, relaxing way to spend time together as a family or as a group! The Plant Workshop at Rimba Lab is a small, exclusive, and hands-on activity where you will learn how to design, pot and care for your plants (and you always leave with at least one!)
Owners Johan and Izzy (pronounced “E-Z”) are a fun and friendly couple who recently opened their new location in Tanjung Bungah, not far from Permai Park. They have a lovely little nursery and garden, which invites you in, and begs you to stay in the cool shade surrounded by beautiful, oxygen giving plants!
They offer a few classes which are about an hour to an hour-and-a-half long, and light refreshments are served. The times are flexible so if you want to go as a family, or as a larger group (up to 8 people), they will work with you to book a time that suits you best.
Classes offered are:
- House Plants 101 – General introduction to plants, it’s variety, medium, watering, caring for them and the general aspect of biophilic living.
- Cactus/Succulent Plant Arrangement – Learn how to care, repot and style Cactus, Succulents.
- Kokedama – Learn this awesome method of potting plants, without a pot!
Price: From RM50 to RM80 per person, includes all materials and at least one plant (depending on the workshop)
