Project Rock is one of our favorite places – probably because we have an avid young rock climber in the family!
The newest Project Rock location opened in July 2022 in Gurney Plaza, near the movie theaters. The easiest way to get there is to find the lift on the ground floor in the back near the Marks & Spencers and take that directly to the 7th floor. The gym will be directly in front of you. If you take the escalators up then walk through the GSC movie theatre popcorn lobby straight through to the back of the floor.
The Project Rock in Batu Kawan is located inside the same mall as IKEA. There is a small climbing space for babies and toddlers and safe areas for kids of all abilities to climb. The staff are very friendly and help you with everything so no experience is necessary. It’s also a great place to host a child’s birthday party!
Climbing shoes are available to rent so remember to bring socks and wear comfortable clothing.
Guided climbing classes are available to kids 5+ at Gurney Plaza on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s from 5pm-6pm for RM50 (including the shoe rental). Please contact Project Rock Gurney directly to sign-up at 04-228-3300.
